Chassis # n/a
Year: 1967
Model: 109" Station Wagon, NADA

This '67 109" Wagon was found in the Los Angles mountains by Tom Sawyer where it had been stored some years. The Marie Blue paint was faded away and the critters had been inside. Tom then towed the 109" to our Dublin shop. Upon inspection is was found to have a 250 cubic inch GM Six cylinder replacing the 2.6L Rover unit.

This vehicle was not stripped down like some of the others we've done, but the body was beadblasted inside & out then re-sprayed Green and White. The seats, door panels and trim was re-done in Tan. At the same time the GM engine was redone and tidied up. Later a Series III gearbox and axles were fitted.

Left: Note the Tan interior.

Left: July 1987, note the late Series IIA spec grill and headlamp arrangement. This was due in part to the larger radiator behind the grill panel. The vehicle carried "ROVER 6" as its California license last time we saw it.
